The round-up
Last week, we built a library of prompt templates and best practices. Here are a few favorite takeaways:
A good prompt should always start with context + goal + audience
Goldilocks-maxx your prompts by requesting three different outputs (safe, extreme, hybrid, for example)
Give/ your AI a specific persona to help with framing (“today you are Silicon Valley’s most sought-after iOS designer”)
Ask not what your AI can do for you, but what AI can ask you (like ask AI to interview you after providing a brain dump)
This was a popular topic and a few mentioned they couldn’t make it, so we will reformat the library into a shareable resource. Stay tuned!
The next two
Expanding your bubble

Just by being here and talking to people outside your day-to-day, you’re doing more networking than most. This week’s discussion is all about building that muscle.
what types of people may be missing in your network with opportunities to listen/ask for intros
low-pressure ways to reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in forever
stay-in-touch tactics so your networking turns into actual relationships
RIP summer (and your calendar)
Thursday, 9/3 at 10ET (register here)
Everyone’s back, which means your schedule is filling up. Bring your coffee and your thoughts on handling life after Labor Day.
how does your energy shift once summer is over? mindset changes, schedule changes, etc.
protecting focus time as meetings ramp back up
maintaining healthy boundaries and burnout prevention (in yourself and on your team)
Down the trail
Next week’s newsletter will have September’s full event calendar, topics and all!
